Our Home Care Options
A crucial part of our caregiving services is ensuring there’s always a dedicated professional on hand to help you. At Impactful Home Care, we provide three care options (find out more about these options below).
These vital services are a part of our wide range of home care services. With so many of our clients using these long term, non-medical services, we work to make these options accessible.
We have multiple payment options. These services may be covered by a variety of payment methods, including private funds, the Pennsylvania Caregiver Support Program, the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (a state Medicaid program), veteran benefits, and select private insurance plans.
Live-In Care Services
For this option, a single, dedicated caregiver resides in your home, providing daytime support.
However, for regulatory compliance and caregiver wellness, the primary live-in caregiver is guaranteed breaks, days off, and eight hours of uninterrupted sleep at night..
We can ensure 24-hour availability by sending relief caregivers to cover the primary aide’s required rest time days off if there’s an emergency. This rotation ensures constant support is available, even at night. This model is typically ideal for clients who require a high level of presence but need little active assistance during the late hours.
24-Hour Home Care Services
This model is ideal for clients who need frequent, hands-on assistance during the day and night
With 24-hour rotational support, we book two or three caregivers to work 12-hour or eight-hour shifts, eliminating the need for sleep breaks. The caregiver is always awake, alert, and ready to assist throughout the entire shift.
Overnight Care Services
Sometimes, clients need the most support at night. This care option provides a fully awake, professional caregiver focused solely on the vulnerable late hours.
This is common for clients with the following:
- Dementia or Alzheimer’s: They’re more at risk of falling or wandering during the late hours.
- Chronic illnesses: They require vigilant nighttime monitoring or repositioning.
- Daytime informal caregivers: Family or friends provide daytime support but need reliable, professional relief at night.
Overnight care also helps guarantee patients have a safe and restful night, providing peace of mind for family members.
