Our 24 hour home care model is one of the two 24-hour care options we provide (The other model is our live-in care services).

This shift care model provides you with two to three licensed caregivers, each working a rotation of eight hours. Caregivers smoothly transition from one shift into the next, guaranteeing there aren’t any gaps in the care you receive.

Staffing and Shifts

It’s impossible for one caregiver to meet all the needs of a patient 24 hours a day. Caregivers need breaks, sleep, and days off. Therefore, we supply you with two or three rotating aides to work round-the-clock.

As soon as one employee completes an eight-hour shift, another aide immediately clocks-in.

Overnight Protocol

We implement this model with a dedicated night-shift caregiver. This consistency ensures the caregiver is accustomed to the nighttime schedule and will remain awake and alert throughout the night hours.

In cases where the night shift aide is unavailable, one of the other two caregivers can work during the night shift. Then, the substitute caregiver would already be familiar with the patient’s unique needs.

This model is best suited for clients who have frequent needs throughout the day and night. Their needs can include:

• Requiring regular turning and repositioning.
• Reminding you to take your medication.
• Assisting with patients who have severe issues with confusion and wandering or other unusual behavior.

We charge a flat, daily rate for this service at 24 hours a day. This option is the most cost-effective choice for continuous support and companionship, to help give you and your family peace of mind.
